They are made from a material that will withstand the time, and chances are you are going to keep them for a long time. ​ Each bag has its story, the person who created it put a lot of time and effort into making something that's unique, beautiful and made just for you. Did you know each Wayuu bag is handmade by a single indigenous woman? Therefore, each bag can tell you a little bit about her color preferences, design choices and woven technique. ​ The crafters, in our case the indigenous communities we support in South America, keep old traditions and old trades going. You are helping them pass the skills to the next generation and keep the art and craft alive.
